Rust Repair
Rust is a huge problem with vehicles in our region aka the “Rust Belt”. Besides being unsightly, rust also can destroy vehicle components, leading to vehicles being unsafe in some cases. Depending on the location and severity of rusted/rotted out areas, vehicles may not pass an annual State Inspection.
We offer rust repair services to tackle these issues. Our services include replacing rotted components like sub frames and control arms, Patching frames and unitized bodies along with rocker and body repairs. However we are not a “body shop”, we are an Auto Repair and Welding Shop, and our repairs reflect that. All repairs are made with same thickness or thicker material of the repair area. We offer 2 levels of repair when the rusted area is in a visible location like rockers, wheel wells, quarter panels, etc.
All rust repairs require an initial appointment to determine the extent of the rust damage to provide an estimated repair cost. In some cases the rust damage may be to extensive, in that case we will inform you during the assessment. The initial appointment is $60 plus tax.
